Lars Svensson appointed Mayor of Springshield

Lars Svensson has been appointed Mayor of Springshield. Lars has spent the last 7 years as the Head of Office in the City Council, where he acquired the necessary experience and qualifications for the post.
Lars has long-standing and broad experience in municipal operations and also has ten years experience in the Cabinet, where he has worked as CIO.
- I see great opportunities to develop business within our municipality, particularly in terms of business and growth, says Lars Svensson.
Lars has lived in Springshield for 19 years and is involved both in the community and the archipelago. He will assume his new position April 19. The current Mayor, Leif Widmark, who has been in office since 2001, will retire in March 2010.
